Grüns is hiring an Account Executive to own and grow the Grüns business at Target.

Job Description

Grüns is dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition through gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. The company offers a fully remote, high-trust work environment and is committed to providing a competitive total compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • - Own the day to day and long term growth of the Target business across store and digital, acting like a GM of the account.
  • - Manage and deepen relationships with an expanded Target buyer set, ensuring all categories are supported with clarity, confidence, and strategic POV.
  • - Establish a reliable monthly sales update cadence for buyers and internal leadership, translating performance into actionable insights.
  • - Lead promo planning and recapping end to end, including building smarter grids, aligning with national programs, and improving ROI visibility.
  • - Build a repeatable feature workflow that covers briefing, asset coordination, launch management, proof of execution, and post promo learning loops.
  • - Maintain Target’s single source of truth across key dates, SKU setup, promo calendars, asset needs, and execution requirements.
  • - Proactively generate a pipeline of incremental Target opportunities, including new items, placements, off shelf features, digital visibility, and category expansion.
  • - Shift buyer conversations from transactional updates to opportunity led strategy, bringing insights and high conviction ideas to every touchpoint.
  • - Drive cross functional alignment with Growth, Retention, Ops, and brokers to ensure strong execution.

Required Skills

  • - 3+ years of CPG sales experience, with at least 2 years directly owning the Target account.
  • - Understands Target economics, merchant expectations, category dynamics, and retail rhythms deeply.
  • - Strong track record of developing and executing Target off shelf programs like features, endcaps, seasonal moments, and promo events.
  • - Sharp with data and comfortable synthesizing SPINS, Nielsen, IRI, panel data, and POS into clear stories and decisions.
  • - Has owned high stakes line reviews, negotiations, and presentations with Target merchant teams.
  • - Fluent in Target systems like POL, item setup portals, Roundel, or comparable tools.
  • - Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint or Google Sheets and Slides, able to build models, dashboards, and buyer ready decks.
