PostHog is hiring a Backend Engineer to work on their ingestion pipeline, processing billions of events per day.

Responsibilities
- - Own the entire service from end-to-end
- - Build open-source software
- - Develop infrastructure to capture and process data reliably
- - Provide data to other parts of PostHog's platform
Required Skills
- - Experience working with highly scalable, event-driven distributed systems
- - Developed multi-tenant software-as-a-service products
- - Experience with Node.JS, Go, Rust, or similar languages
- - Worked with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, or similar systems at scale
- - Ability to ship changes quickly without breaking things
