Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Produce high quality documentation, including code samples, for our API, website, sales collateral and open source communication
• - Create the technical curriculum (e.g., tutorials, getting started) to get customers from a 100 to 400 level
• - Edit, clarify, and proofread documentation written by others, and help non-writers improve their skills
• - Develop and implement a voice that will be used across Pulumi documentation
• - Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, and sales to prioritize, develop, and deliver product documentation
• - Manage a team of technical writers and engineers

Required Skills

• - 3+ years in a software development environment
• - Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent a plus
• - Experience building and managing a team
• - Demonstrable experience with technical writing for cloud and/or devops products, preferably in a start-up environment
• - Familiarity with the content and voice needed to engage with the Open Source developer community
• - Experience in one or more of the following technologies a plus: Languages: Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#. Cloud Platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
