Responsibilities

• - Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams
• - Actively contribute to the codebase – building and maintaining the high-scale data ingestion and time-series reporting infrastructure
• - Drive team execution by aligning delivery with business and product goals
• - Partner with Product Owners and Tech Leads to shape scope and roadmap
• - Ensure robustness, scalability, and security in all deliverables
• - Foster a culture of learning, ownership, and technical excellence
• - Actively contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team-building efforts
• - Be a role model and champion of Cast AI’s values and engineering culture
• - Participate in the incident response process as needed.

Required Skills

• - Proven experience leading technical teams in a fast-paced environment
• - Strong software engineering skills with experience in distributed systems and backend development, ideally in Go
• - Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals or cloud-native infrastructure
• - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• - Strong grasp of database systems and architecture; experience with time-series databases is a plus
• - CI/CD and DevOps practices experience
• - Clear communicator with strong written and verbal English skills
• - Collaborative and action-oriented leadership style.
