Lead Product Designer

Help Scout is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join their remote team and drive innovative solutions in customer and company data management, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities
- - Own projects across multiple product surfaces
- - Help shape design team practices and culture
- - Contribute to the evolution and pursuit of the product vision
- - Partner closely with product and engineering to translate company and product strategy into focused initiatives
- - Own design and user experience for core product areas of Help Scout
- - Navigate complex, ambiguous problems and distill them down to clear, actionable steps
- - Stay close to the customer to understand their goals and challenges
- - Show your work early and often, participate in weekly design critiques
- - Participate in hiring and improving the design culture within Help Scout
Required Skills
- - Experienced design leader with a track record of delivering products that solve real problems
- - Experience in customer data, data visualization, and reporting problem spaces
- - Over-invest in well crafted interaction and visual design
- - Push boundaries of what’s possible, experimenting with new ideas
- - Embrace ambiguity and lead design initiatives
- - Balance between gut- and data-informed decisions
- - Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
