Platform Engineer: Platform Solutions (Remote)

Overview

Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and optimize custom platform services
• - Ensure systems are resilient, secure, and performant
• - Collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver infrastructure solutions

Required Skills

• - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go (preferred), Java, Python, C# or similar
• - Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SQS)
• - Familiarity with cloud-native system design best practices
• - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation (preferred), Terraform or Pulumi
• - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
• - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS)
• - Knowledge of networking concepts, security, and distributed systems
• - Understanding of web concepts and security, including OAuth, SAML, CORS, Cookies, and HTTP security
