Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Work closely with Technical Account Managers and Data Scientists as technical experts for Phaidra's customers
• - Use Phaidra's platform and tools to put AI into production
• - Create a model of the facility for ingestion by the AI Agent
• - Work closely with AI research team to create algorithms
• - Define AI problem, understand technology capabilities and limitations
• - Rapidly deploy solutions to production using Phaidra's platform and tools
• - Improve processes to make Phaidra operate more efficiently
• - Identify and define product requirements based on customer needs
• - Ensure automated tools enable Phaidra to scale across thousands of customers
• - Role can include 25% travel

Required Skills

• - 10-15 years of work experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent
• - Expertise in HVAC and Data Center cooling control methodologies
• - Knowledge of chiller plant fundamentals, configurations, and sequence of operations
• - Ability to operate as a Solutions Engineer independently
• - Understanding of applied thermodynamics for cooling systems
• - Experience with industrial and commercial control systems and protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
• - Deep understanding of data center specific controls and cooling methodologies
• - Ability to analyze performance and viability of engineered solutions
• - Passion for problem solving and using scalable solutions
• - Ability to translate customer needs into coherent documentation
• - Good educational background in related disciplines
• - Ability to read and write Python scripts
• - Ability to work independently to resolve onboarding or support tickets
• - Deep knowledge of Phaidra’s pipelines
• - Excellent communication skills
• - Ability to own and manage large sections of documentation
• - Ability to understand customers well and drive customer satisfaction
• - Ability to lead deployment and support of multiple solutions
• - Ability to mentor peers and handle project stakeholders
