Overview
Grafana Labs is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to work on their IRM solutions, which aim to make it easy to detect, respond, and learn from incidents with minimal effort.
Job Description
Grafana Labs is responsible for IRM solutions that include OnCall Cloud offering, Incident Cloud offering, and IRM mobile application. They are a cross-functional team that works closely with Product, Design, and Documentation to define goals and build solutions.
Responsibilities
- - Coding new features, enhancing the operational experience of the systems you develop, and iteratively improving them based on production insights
- - Contributing to and reviewing design documents
- - Taking an active role in shaping the team''s roadmap
- - Collaborating with different teams across the organization
- - Owning the experience of our customers by participating in weekday 12h x 5d and a separate weekend 24h x 2d on-call rotations
Required Skills
- - Comfortable working in a remote-first company and understand the importance of communication
- - Enjoy working as a team, being collaborative, friendly, kind, and respectful
- - Solid experience as a Software Engineer building full stack applications
- - Comfortable working with either Golang or Python and React
- - Ability to transform ideas into working code
- - Care deeply about user experience and the quality of the products
- - Experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or some experience with systems engineering
- - Understand the implications of technical decisions
- - Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
