Float is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to integrate AI-driven pattern detection into their Resource Recommendation Engine.

Responsibilities

- Lead technical viability discussions
- Develop and test proof-of-concepts for the Resource Recommendation Engine
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing data
- Implement and maintain changes to the data streaming pipeline
- Lead technical discussions related to optimization, pattern detection, and AI
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms
- Design, implement, and maintain streaming data architecture
- Establish best practices and standards for optimization, AI, and data engineering
- Mentor and train team members
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies

Required Skills

- Expertise in ML, expert systems, and advanced algorithms
- Proficient in Python or Java
- Comfortable with SQL and Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines and stream processing
- Skilled in data integration, cleaning, and validation
- Familiar with vector and graph databases
- Independent decision-making
- Clear documentation and collaboration
