Automattic is hiring a Senior Demand Generation Manager to oversee demand gen strategy and campaigns for WooCommerce.
Job Description
Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, and more, is looking for an experienced marketer to lead demand generation strategies. This role is strategic, data-driven, and growth-oriented, focusing on building systematic marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- - Building an efficient, full-funnel demand generation engine, bespoke to each of our key audience segments
- - Collaborating with our channel experts to create multi-channel campaigns (email, content, social media, paid advertising, etc.) that generate awareness and capture leads
- - Crafting highly personalized ABM strategies: identifying key accounts and implementing comprehensive lead-nurture programs
- - Providing insightful reporting on funnel performance at a regular cadence
- - Setting annual budgets and targets for our demand generation efforts
- - Implementing and continuously improving marketing pipeline health
- - Coordinating cross-functional efforts to launch and optimize campaigns and nurture flows
- - Continuous experimentation to improve performance, exploring new channels and tactics, and optimizing landing pages
Required Skills
- - Demand gen: 6+ years experience building and scaling inbound and outbound demand generation strategies, and are comfortable leading both
- - Digitally savvy: Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing channels/platforms (email, content, social media, paid advertising, etc.)
- - Analytical: Ability and desire to use data/metrics to make strategic decisions
- - Detail oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence in execution
- - Project management: Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
