Overview
37signals is hiring a Senior Rails programmer. We're a small team working on Basecamp, HEY and its Calendar, ONCE, and new greenfield products at 37signals.

Responsibilities
- - Work alongside a designer on adding new features to Basecamp and HEY
- - Work on a brand new product in the next three cycles
- - Address issues to ensure apps are robust and codebase is weed free
- - Occasionally rotate between product work and SIP team (security/infrastructure/performance)
Required Skills
- - Senior product programmer with Ruby on Rails experience
- - Ability to work as a manager of one
- - Comfortable working remotely
- - Ability to write prose and code with care and eloquence
Benefits
- - Top 10% industry pay based on San Francisco rates
- - 31 days off per year, plus another 6-weeks every third year
- - 32-hour weeks from May 1 - August 31

- - Average bonus was 41% of base salary in 2025
