Overview
Shuttle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on scaling and improving their cloud platform.
Job Description

Responsibilities
- - Drive the technical vision for Shuttle
- - Scale the Shuttle platform to hundreds of thousands of users
- - Uphold code best practices, maintainability, and documentation
- - Deliver successful outcomes for customers
Required Skills
- - 3+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role
- - Experience as a senior member of a startup/scale-up team
- - Expertise in building and operating highly available, scalable, cost-effective and secure systems (5+ yr)
- - Experience in cloud-native architecture and understanding of infrastructural primitives (5+ yr)
- - Experience diagnosing and root-causing issues with distributed web services
- - Experience monitoring and maintaining applications in production, applying SRE & CI/CD best practices
- - Experience with AWS (e.g ECS, Fargate, EC2, RDS, Networking, CloudWatch, S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda) (2+ yr)
- - Experience with Infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform) and continuous deployment to production using CI/CD best practices
- - Growth mindset and ability to pick up new technologies/skills
