Software Engineer- C++/ClickHouse (Remote)

Overview

Tinybird is hiring a Software Engineer to contribute to ClickHouse, the database on which Tinybird is built, and enhance its capabilities.

Job Description

Tinybird is the data platform that helps data engineering teams address complex real-time, operational, and user-facing analytics challenges at any scale. It simplifies the process of importing data from various sources, allowing you to use SQL for data manipulation and then publish the results as low-latency, high-concurrency RESTful API endpoints.

Responsibilities

- Tackle critical ClickHouse bugs that impact our customers
- Develop exciting new features
- Collaborate with team members to find optimal solutions for various ClickHouse challenges
- Engage in daily discussions about the product, balancing immediate challenges with long-term vision

Required Skills

- C++ experience
- Experience with or contributing to ClickHouse
- Deep understanding of how databases work internally
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate well in writing
