Responsibilities

• - Deliver iterative improvements: You’ll rapidly iterate on designs, incorporating both user feedback and technical constraints, while continuously improving flows, interactions, and visual designs.
• - Engage with technical customers: You’ll have direct contact with developer users, gathering insights and refining product features based on their needs and technical feedback.
• - Validate new features: You’ll be a key player in prototyping and testing new feature ideas to help the team narrow in on the best path forward.
• - Lead your team: You’ll collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders to guide your team and ensure consistent execution.
• - Collaborate with other designers: You’ll work with other designers and engineers to ensure smooth integration between design and development, focusing on making the entire experience seamless.
• - Advance design systems: You’ll work within our design system, pushing its bounds where needed to get the intended experience outcomes.

Required Skills

• - Strong technical background: Comfortable designing for developers and technical users.
• - Experience writing front-end code or deep technical knowledge.
• - Ability to engage with users, especially technical users and developers, to gather insights.
• - Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive iteration and fast-paced improvements.
• - Ability to set a vision and help the team see where it can go next.
• - Ability to design and prototype ideas for rapid iteration and refinement.
• - Ability to bridge design and technology, ensuring designs are innovative and technically feasible.
• - Ability to balance instincts and research, employing research methods when needed.
• - Advocacy for craft, delivering high quality visual designs.
• - Ability to work within and elevate a design system.
• - Focus on outcomes, achieving customer impact measured by qualitative and quantitative measures.
• - Strong collaboration skills with engineers, product managers, and other designers.
• - Curiosity and creativity with a proven track record in B2B SaaS environments.
