Responsibilities

• - Determine what to work on and why
• - Participate in the how
• - Share the responsibility for execution
• - Act as the grease (not the glue)
• - Become an expert on the business, product, and customers
• - Use research to refine team priorities
• - Map the team's work from long-term vision to short-term roadmap
• - Navigate trade-offs and define key indicators
• - Communicate the value and strategic purpose of the work
• - Act as a critical sounding-board for product designers and engineers
• - Monitor effort and resources involved in each approach
• - Meet colleagues where they are and speak the languages of engineering and/or product design
• - Understand that accountability is shared
• - Take on some project management responsibilities
• - Define launch plans, manage release cycles, and conduct retrospectives
• - Communicate relentlessly to ensure team alignment
• - Collaborate with engineers and product designers to validate assumptions

Required Skills

• - At least three years of experience as a Product Manager
• - Strong technical background
• - Experience in the SaaS industry
• - Experience with complex, data-rich applications, developer-facing products, cross-platform code sharing, legacy system migrations, developer documentation and architectural guidelines, analytics pipelines and data warehouses, security best practices, cross-platform release planning and execution, third party APIs, and infrastructure improvements
• - Deep love for cross-functional product development
