Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Lead and mentor a team of engineers and SREs, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• - Oversee AWS account management, Terraform-based infrastructure architecture and deployments, cloud architecture design, and networking design/infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
• - Implement and maintain effective cost and capacity management strategies to optimize cloud spend and support growth
• - Partner with product teams to integrate infrastructure with Vercel deployments and other platform services
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure priorities with business objectives
• - Drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational practices—including deployment automation, monitoring, incident response, and security compliance
• - Ensure robust incident management, on-call readiness, and system reliability for all cloud-hosted services

Required Skills

• - Proven experience managing engineering teams, preferably in a remote environment
• - Strong background in AWS, Terraform, and cloud architecture best practices
• - Experience with networking in cloud environments (e.g., VPC design, peering, routing, load balancing)
• - Familiarity with cost and capacity planning, cloud spend optimization, and usage forecasting
• - Experience with integrating and managing Vercel or similar hosting/CDN platforms
• - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
• - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
