Responsibilities

• - Lead and mentor a team of engineers building and scaling our Core API services
• - Provide hands-on technical leadership, collaborating with senior engineers to navigate architectural decisions and scaling challenges
• - Support a healthy engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing
• - Partner with product managers to deliver robust, API-first solutions that help our customers detect and prevent fraud
• - Communicate effectively across engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, making complex technical ideas accessible
• - Promote a mindset of continuous improvement, learning, and accountability across the team

Required Skills

• - 4+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in an agile environment
• - 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally within SaaS
• - Strong technical foundation in software development and cloud infrastructure
• - A track record of leading teams that deliver high-quality, scalable software
• - Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with evolving priorities
• - Experience managing teams in a high-growth company (nice-to-have)
• - Familiarity with AWS and modern cloud-native tooling (nice-to-have)
• - Background with programming languages like Go and/or TypeScript (nice-to-have)
