Job Description
Double makes software for bookkeepers, providing an all-in-one tool to manage work, communicate with clients, catch errors, and deliver reports. Founded in 2021, Double has raised $12M in funding and helps thousands of bookkeepers and accountants manage the books for startups and small businesses across the US.
Responsibilities
- - Work with our talented engineering team to ensure successful execution and solve technical problems
- - Guide the team through nuanced decisions, balancing speed of delivery, quality and complexity
- - 'Unblock' engineers to do their best work
- - Contribute to improving our 'Double culture'
- - Collaborate directly with the CEO, CTO, Product Managers, and UX Designer to accelerate growth
Required Skills
- - B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
- - 5+ years of demonstrable experience building production SaaS software
- - Track record of successful engineering people leadership
- - Previous experience writing type-safe code with TypeScript
