Constructor is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join the Merchant Intelligence team, working on the next-generation platform for search and discovery in e-commerce.
Job Description
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in e-commerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents.
Responsibilities
- - Develop new reports and tools for merchandizers and analysts from e-commerce companies
- - Improve the existing dashboard experience by building analytics that provide insights to improve KPIs
- - Integrate internal systems and build customer-facing features on top of them
- - Build a stable and error-resistant platform
- - Work with the team to iteratively brainstorm, design, and implement new ways to support KPI-driven merchandizing
Required Skills
- - Strong foundation and experience with server-side and client-side JavaScript
- - Experience with front-end frameworks like React
- - Frequently using SQL to gather data for your solutions
- - Able to pick up new technologies and design patterns quickly and loves learning them
- - Proactively seek places for product improvements
