Full Stack Engineer with Frontend Focus: Searchandising Team

Constructor is hiring a full-stack engineer to join their Searchandising team, focusing on creating and maintaining tools for merchandisers of global e-commerce brands.
Job Description
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents.
Responsibilities
- - Create and maintain tools used by merchandisers of global e-commerce brands
- - Deliver features for the Searchandizing dashboard
- - Improve system stability
- - Scale solutions to better serve merchandisers
- - Lead projects and communicate closely with product and design teams
Required Skills
- - 3+ years of experience working on the frontend for production applications
- - Strong proficiency with React and Typescript
- - Experience with automated testing frameworks
- - Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- - Knowledge of API design and integration patterns
- - Backend experience using any popular framework (preferably Python ones)
- - Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment workflows
- - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- - Experience working in remote environments
