Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Build and improve the ways people pay with Wave
• - Use iOS expertise to create user-friendly and maintainable applications
• - Help the rest of the team improve their frontend skills
• - Enable people to use their Wave app to pay for products in stores
• - Allow users to send money to Wave users in other countries
• - Build a way for people to move money between their bank account and Wave account

Required Skills

• - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with at least 2 years building iOS applications
• - Experience using Swift and SwiftUI
• - Native or fluent English
• - Reflexively ask yourself, ''is this code the best way to make my users happy?''
• - Push through hard problems without giving up
• - Enjoy helping other engineers improve their frontend skills
• - Not afraid to take on complicated systems
• - Excited to learn backend work or Android work
• - Work to make things easier for the next engineer
• - Always try to improve as a programmer and colleague
