Oxide is hiring a Networking Deployment Engineer to join their team focused on modeling and verification of Oxide deployments.
Job Description
Oxide is a cloud infrastructure company focused on deploying Oxide Cloud Computers that host critical business functions. They are seeking engineers to join their networking team with a focus on modeling and verification of Oxide deployments, developing testbed technologies, and preparing for new types of deployment environments.
Responsibilities
- - Collaborate with other engaged, friendly systems engineers to understand customer use cases
- - Develop tools to emulate and analyze complex networks
- - Write code in Rust, P4 and more
- - Operate across multiple layers of the stack to model and verify how true rack-scales system interact their deployment environment
Required Skills
- - Experience deploying and operating large-scale mission-critical network and compute infrastructure
- - Previously worked with Rust or another low-level systems language such as C
- - Implemented networking protocols in environments constrained by performance and correctness
- - Experience designing, implementing, deploying and operating data center networks using dynamic routing protocols and overlay networks
- - Experience with BGP implementation or deployment
- - Produce good documentation and/or written descriptions of your ideas
