Job Description
A new wave of AI SaaS builders - Lovable, Vercel, Cursor, Bolt, and others - is becoming the default starting point for how software gets built, and each one is standing up its own marketplace or integration directory to connect what people build inside them to real backend services.
Responsibilities
- - Optimize existing Claude and ChatGPT integrations
- - Identify and prioritize AI builder platforms worth partnering with
- - Own the full partner relationship lifecycle
- - Negotiate commercial terms directly with partners
- - Translate marketplace technical requirements into specs
- - Get Customer.io listed and featured in each platform's marketplace
- - Track installs, activations, and pipeline sourced from each marketplace
- - Build the playbook for evaluating and onboarding new platforms
Required Skills
- - 5-7 years in business development, partnerships, or platform/ecosystem roles
- - Track record of getting a product listed and adopted in another platform's ecosystem
- - Real technical fluency with API and webhook documentation
- - Strong deal-making instincts
- - Bias to action in an undefined category
- - Understanding of self-serve, product-led growth motions
- - Excellent cross-functional operator
