Responsibilities

• - Design and continuously improve Monarch's leadership operating system, including planning cadences, decision-making frameworks, and operating rhythms.
• - Own the operating mechanics behind quarterly and annual planning, ensuring priorities, dependencies, and execution remain aligned across the company.
• - Drive execution of the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives by improving coordination, accountability, and follow-through.
• - Build and evolve the operating mechanisms, documentation, and planning artifacts that enable teams to execute effectively at scale.
• - Partner closely with founders and functional leaders to identify organizational friction, improve decision-making, and continuously strengthen how Monarch operates.

Required Skills

• - 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, or a similar operational leadership role.
• - Demonstrated experience designing or scaling operating systems, planning processes, or company-wide execution mechanisms in a high-growth environment.
• - Experience partnering directly with founders and senior leaders on company-wide initiatives.
• - Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to synthesize complexity into clear decisions, frameworks, and operating mechanisms.
• - Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify root causes, simplify complexity, and design durable solutions.
• - Outstanding judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
• - Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while maintaining an exceptionally high quality bar.
• - Demonstrated AI Fluency: you use AI regularly in your work, have a clear point of view on where it helps and where it doesn't, and are continuously raising your own bar.
