Job Description
Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents.
Responsibilities
- - Drive product strategy by uncovering actionable insights from user behavior and validating changes through A/B testing
- - Define, monitor, and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) through dashboards for all levels of the company
- - Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, product management, design, and user research
- - Build and maintain clean, reliable data tables to improve analytical efficiency and democratize data access for the entire team
Required Skills
- - 2+ years of experience in data science or a similar analytical role
- - Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, consumer-focused environments
- - Proactive and autonomous self-starter
- - Excellent communicator
- - Previous experience as a data scientist in a startup or e-commerce environment
- - Expert-level SQL proficiency
- - Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark
- - Experience with Databricks, Redash, and other BI tooling
- - Basic understanding of data pipeline development and ETL processes
- - Knowledge of OLAP technologies
- - Ability to build and maintain data pipelines
- - Experience with data orchestration tools
- - Experience implementing data quality monitoring and testing frameworks
