Job Description
Downtobid builds AI-driven software for commercial construction, helping general contractors and trade contractors manage their projects more efficiently.
Responsibilities
- - Shape and ship features
- - Start from a customer problem or product idea, design a solution, implement it, measure results, and iterate
- - Work where the need is, polishing existing features or prototyping new ones
- - Maintain quality by writing tests, documentation, and capturing basic metrics
Required Skills
- - Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, REST API, PostgreSQL
- - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Pub/Sub
- - Experience deploying and maintaining applications on GCP/AWS
- - Ability to take a project from concept to production
- - Ability to move from broad requirements to working software quickly
- - Preference for autonomy and direct ownership
- - Appreciation for clear feedback and collaborative, low-bureaucracy environments
