Job Description
Monarch is a personal finance platform aiming to simplify financial management. The company is fully remote and focuses on building a product that users love, evolving based on feedback. The role involves driving the growth and evolution of web and mobile apps, with high autonomy and ownership.
Responsibilities
- - Play a critical role in growing and evolving our web and mobile app
- - Be a thought partner in building a product, company, and culture
- - Have significant input into the processes, rituals, and tools
- - Work with a lot of autonomy and own the full implementation of projects
Required Skills
- - 3+ years experience in full-stack development with Python, Django, React, React Native, iOS, and Android
- - Superb written and verbal communication skills
- - Familiarity with best practices in engineering, architecture, security, and design for web and mobile apps
- - Experience with early-stage company best practices including rapid iteration with robust metrics and qualitative user feedback
- - Nice to have: Experience building APIs with Django Rest Framework
- - Nice to have: Experience working in a financial technology company
- - Nice to have: Experience working in a remote-first culture
