Job Description
As our first Public Relations hire you would take ownership of building, leading, and scaling our Public Relations efforts to achieve earned media in reputable publications.
Responsibilities
- - Develop public relations strategy.
- - Execute on public relations strategy.
- - Allocate public relations budget between agencies, freelancers, and internal hires.
- - Write press releases.
- - Perform direct media outreach and develop relationships with key journalists, editors, and bloggers.
- - Work internally with other teams in the company to uncover and create newsworthy stories.
Required Skills
- - 5+ years in B2B public relations, ideally in SaaS or technology companies.
- - Experience working in or with rapidly growing small companies.
- - Proven success in achieving high-quality press coverage.
- - Ability to regularly work during US business hours.
- - Willing to wear many hats and adapt as the company grows.
- - Experience in industries related to SEO, AI, or search engines in general would be a plus.
