Job Description
Kalepa is an AI Underwriting Platform built to deliver Professional-Grade AI in production, helping insurers centralize and prioritize submission data, surface critical risk insights, and make faster, more confident decisions. Responsibilities
- - Focus on refining existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience
- - Ensure consistency across the product, maintaining a cohesive look and feel
- - Implement performance improvements that directly impact end users
- - Collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions
Required Skills
- - 5+ years of software engineering experience
- - Experience in a modern FE framework, preferably React
- - Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or Python
- - Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments
- - Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- - Bonus: experience with LLMs/generative AI, distributed systems
