Responsibilities

  • - Drive the execution, growth, and scale of Affirm in the United Kingdom for the credit underwriting and corresponding purchase experience interfaces
  • - Drive credit and purchase UX strategy and success metrics and see through to execution impact that meaningfully moves the needle for Affirm’s business and customers
  • - Understand Affirm UK users and merchants at a deep level -- what’s important to them, what drives their decision making, why they love Affirm, and what they wish we could do better
  • - Drive our product expansion to new markets in the credit and purchase experience domain, bringing the best of Affirm's existing approach paired with local market needs
  • - Partner closely with engineering teams across the organization to drive product development and prioritization
  • - Collaborate with stakeholders (such as Revenue, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Fraud, etc) to shape your product roadmap and incorporate legal, governance & regulatory oversight into your products
  • - Identify and create the experiences that make it seamless for merchants to deliver an incredible buy now, pay later experience to consumers

Required Skills

  • - Directly managed technical software products from kick-off to post-launch
  • - Experience working on consumer technology product in the UK or Europe
  • - Comfortable diving into technical details with an engineer, iterating on a Figma with a designer, and breaking down a funnel with a data analyst
  • - Discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to navigate complex organizational dynamics
  • - Experience working in an environment reliant on engineering teams outside of direct purview
  • - Bias towards action and ability to effectively navigate obstacles and blockers
  • - Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan
  • - Direct experience shipping high-quality products on time
