There are more than 20M users of Grafana, the open source visualization tool, around the globe, monitoring everything from beehives to climate change in the Alps. The instantly recognizable dashboards have been spotted everywhere from a NASA launch and Minecraft HQ to Wimbledon and the Tour de France. Grafana Labs also helps more than 3,000 companies -- including Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase, and eBay -- manage their observability strategies with the Grafana LGTM Stack, which can be run fully managed with Grafana Cloud or self-managed with the Grafana Enterprise Stack, both featuring scalable metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).
Responsibilities
- - Work with engineers and management structures to support and enable the team
- - Communicate effectively in a remote-first company
- - Collaborate and operate by consensus
- - Work with distributed systems
- - Learn and grow with the team
- - Approach development holistically, owning the full life cycle of code
- - Operate and manage code used by operators and developers
Required Skills
- - Familiarity with CSP IAM and Kubernetes RBAC
- - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform/Crossplane/Helm
- - Experience operating and managing workloads on Kubernetes
- - Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM)
- - Bonus: Experience with open source or community-based projects
- - Bonus: Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure managed Kubernetes services
- - Bonus: Familiarity with threat modeling, secure architecture reviews, and security tabletop exercises
- - Bonus: Experience with Okta administration
