Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build the data visualization and analytics experiences that help creators understand and grow their businesses. You will be joining the Reporting & Compliance team, which is responsible for providing in‑app business analytics to our creators.
Responsibilities
- - Dive into our codebase and reporting platform architecture
- - Set up your local environment and merge your first production code
- - Work through your personal onboarding plan
- - Begin understanding how our reporting functionality supports creators
- - Own and deliver at least one complex feature from concept to launch
- - Improve our codebase through thoughtful refactoring
- - Present at least one Lunch & Learn session
- - Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve our product and development processes
Required Skills
- - Expertise developing rich, performant web applications using React, JavaScript, and modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind
- - Strong ability to design and implement intuitive, accessible data visualizations
- - Experience with Ruby on Rails (preferred), or experience with other backend frameworks
- - Understanding of data flow from backend to frontend
- - Knowledge of working with Design Systems and building reusable, accessible component libraries
- - Ability to plan, estimate, and execute complex ambiguous projects independently
- - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
