Staff iOS Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Work on the iOS app, moving it and the business forward by continually finding and implementing better solutions for users
• - Work as an individual contributor, owning and leading projects end-to-end
• - Help shape how the app is designed and built as it grows
• - Review code, share context with the team, and keep standards high
• - Squash occasional tricky bugs and look for ways to improve tools and processes
• - Work closely with Product Design and wider Engineering teams to implement high-quality user experiences

Required Skills

• - 8+ years of experience building apps for iOS
• - Proficiency with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
• - Experience with Combine (or similar like RxSwift)
• - Knowledge of debugging, profiling, and performance tuning
• - Comfortable with CI/CD and modern version control workflows
• - Ability to solve tricky problems and create products that are genuinely nice to use
• - Experience managing and implementing projects end-to-end
• - Experience working as an individual contributor, ideally in a small team
• - Ability to work autonomously and know when to trust your gut or gather more data
• - Based in UTC-5 to UTC+2 time zones
• - Professional level English speaking and writing skills
