Responsibilities

• - Lead a team of world-class engineers building core Kalepa functionalities
• - Set strategy and deliver results consistently
• - Grow and develop talented engineers

• - Design and build API endpoints
• - Improve database and query performance
• - Integrate with third-party services
• - Translate product requirements into reliable business logic
• - Diagnose and resolve customer issues
• - Contribute to making the platform faster, more stable, and easier to use

Required Skills

• - 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• - 2 years of full-time engineering people management experience
• - Experience managing complex projects
• - Success in hiring talented engineers
• - Ability to make tradeoffs for high-quality code
• - Excellent communication skills
• - Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
• - Proficient in Python
• - Experience with serverless technologies and cloud environments
• - Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• - Bonus: experience with LLMs/generative AI, distributed systems
