The Supply Chain Security group is remaking software development and operations security through a holistic, developer-first approach to securing software and software artifacts. We are developing an end-to-end solution for securing the container ecosystem, starting in the developer inner loop and continuing through to production, emphasizing ease-of-use and automation every step of the way.

Job Description

This Engineering Manager will lead the Supply Chain Security Developer Experience team. This team is responsible for Docker Scout, its web, Docker Desktop, command-line, and application programming interfaces, as well as its backend platform. This engineering leader should be comfortable leading a team of engineers that own the development, operations, and platform of a SaaS product. This engineering leader and their team will have extensive interaction with customers using Docker Scout and Docker Hardened Images. Responsibilities

  • - Lead a team of engineers across Europe and North America developing and operating Docker Scout
  • - Work with the Supply Chain Security leadership to translate roadmap and priorities into work for your team
  • - Take active ownership of your team members’ development, growth, and performance
  • - Own the team’s execution and agile ceremonies

Required Skills

  • - Experience leading teams developing and operating SaaS products on cloud infrastructure
  • - Understanding of the software and container security ecosystem
  • - Familiarity with software supply chain concepts, e.g., SLSA, in-toto, CVEs, cryptographic signing, and repeatable builds
  • - Experience leading agile, remote engineering teams
  • - High degree of independence and ownership
  • - Obsession with enabling engineers to do great work and delivering value to customers
