Responsibilities

• - Build and grow a high-performing QA team: Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career progression for a centralised QA team.
• - Own QA delivery and prioritisation: Manage intake and prioritisation across multiple business units, balancing competing demands while maintaining clarity and predictability.
• - Strengthen quality practices and automation strategy: Partner with Engineering teams to improve automation coverage, regression reliability, and overall release confidence.
• - Act as a strong cross-functional partner: Build trusted relationships with Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations.
• - Provide technical credibility and guidance: Leverage your background in QA and engineering to guide standards, review approaches, and support your team in solving complex testing challenges.
• - Champion a remote-native culture: Lead with empathy and intention in a fully remote environment.

Required Skills

• - Proven QA leadership experience: Experience leading QA teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• - Strong people management skills, with a track record of coaching, performance management, and developing individuals at different stages of their careers.
• - Strong stakeholder and communication skills: Exceptional ability to manage internal clients across multiple business units.
• - Delivery and prioritisation mindset: Experienced in managing centralised QA functions supporting multiple teams.
• - Technical credibility in QA and engineering: Background in QA engineering, including both manual and automation testing.
• - Familiarity with modern backend-focused stacks: Experience working with teams building systems using technologies such as Python, Node.js, React, and AWS serverless architectures.
• - Remote-first leader: Proven experience leading distributed teams and fostering accountability, alignment, and engagement in a fully remote environment.
