Senior Solutions Engineer (EMEA)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• - Drive the technical evaluation stage of the overall sales process
• - Serve as a key technical advisor to the sales team
• - Work closely with product management and engineering teams
• - Serve as a product advocate in front of prospects, customers, and the wider Docker and Container communities
• - Develop expert knowledge and proficiency in Docker offerings
• - Help customers move past high-level concepts and learn how Docker fits into their environment
• - Transform development pipelines, automate infrastructure, and remove friction
• - Articulate Docker’s technical and product positioning to various stakeholders
• - Forge strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the sales cycle

Required Skills

• - 8+ years of experience with technical sales of distributed systems and infrastructure software
• - Operational experience with a Docker-based container platform
• - Familiarity with Developer tools, including CI and CD pipelines
• - Familiarity with cloud technologies
• - Development experience (scripting, application development, etc.)
• - Significant experience with Linux
• - Exceptional communication capabilities
• - Passion for learning new technologies
• - Previous experience building solutions with Docker, Kubernetes, etc. is preferred
• - Must be willing to travel to clients
• - CS degree a plus
• - Fluency in English and Spanish/Portuguese desired
